There’s a common perception that being a Christian means life gets boring, that being moral and good means you’ve flipped the switch on fun. That’s putting the cart before the horse! Being a Christian does not mean being a moral person, it means you’re now following Jesus instead of yourself (which is a brilliant move by the way). It’s out of being in a relationship with Jesus Himself that we’re changed, not because we’ve suddenly decided to be moral. We’re changed by those we hang out with, and when you hang out with Jesus you’re changed to be more like Him!
And following Him is the greatest adventure because we were made by Him to be complete in Him. Check out this verse in Colossians 2:6, “In the same way you received Jesus our Lord and Messiah by faith, continue your journey of faith, progressing further into your union with Him!” (TPT). God is endless, an entire universe to explore! For eternity, we will never get to the bottom of God! He is the greatest adventure and most fulfilling person we could ever know. So go all in with Him!
